Arthritis

This blog is a way for me to tackling the arthritis. I felt terrible the first three years of my arthritis, the first year was absolutely the worst, the second one was a little bit better but I was still suffering badly. The third year was so much better then the first two years. I gradually got better and four years after I got sick, I was able to go back to work.  I still had arthritis, now it was just managble and I could almost do everything. The pain was still there, I had trouble with some movements but I could live somehow a normal life.

My doctor and I are not sure why I got so much better. Even though it took time, I got so much better. I think it was because of methotrexate Nothing seemed to work on the arthritis and for the first 7 months, I just got worse and worse. When I started on the methotrexate I gradually started to feel better. I was also on Salazopyrin, I took prednisone for over a two years, then I took voltaren rapid in hope to ease the swallowing and parkodin for the pain. Sadly there wasn't a pain killer in the world that could ease the pain so for almost two or three years I was in such agony. I'm one of the lucky ones, I can take medicines and have my arthritis almost under control.

Since my husband and I are ttc, I can't use previous methods. Therefor I'm exploring new ways to keep my arthritis under control. Here's my list of things I think will be helpful in order to keep the flares down. My plan is to read about those things, try some, surf the internet and read books to come up with ideas.
